ESG practices from CTG's subsidiary listed among successful cases of green transformation at COP29

CTG's subsidiary, China Yangtze Power Co., Ltd. (CYPC), was recognized for its successful green transformation practices at the recently-concluded 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).
CYPC's practices, which focus on leveraging digital and intelligent technologies to empower rural development, were highlighted in a report on Chinese enterprises' green transformation efforts in 2024. The report was released at the China Pavilion during the event.
The case underscores CTG's dedication to advancing the use of digital technologies in rural development and facilitating green, low-carbon transitions in Fengjie county, southwest China's Chongqing Municipality.
Through the integration of digital technologies into ecological industries, rural development and talent cultivation, CYPC has contributed to Fengjie's green and low-carbon transition, attracted high-caliber professionals to the county, and promoted the growth of the county's digital economy.
