Final transformer station of CTG Brasil's Arinos PV Project achieves full grid connection

Recently, the final transformer station of the Arinos Photovoltaic (PV) Project was successfully connected to the grid and completed its power transmission test, which marked the project's full-capacity integration into the grid.

Located in the central Brazilian state of Minas Gerais, approximately 200 kilometers from the country's capital, Brasília, the Arinos PV Project was launched in June 2023 and is CTG Brasil’s first self-developed greenfield project.

With an installed capacity of 412.6 MW, the project will provide an average of 855 million kWh of clean electricity annually.

The output is enough to meet the annual electricity needs of 240,000 local households, save approximately 260,000 tonnes of standard coal, and reduce carbon emissions by about 710,000 tonnes annually.
