CTG’s wind farm in SW China's Yunnan Province successfully enters operations

Recently, the flexible direct current (DC) project at CTG's wind farm in Mile city, Honghe Hani and Yi autonomous prefecture, southwest China's Yunnan Province, successfully transitioned to grid-connected operation after completing a continuous 168-hour trial run.  

Located at an altitude of 2,500 meters, the project marks a significant milestone as the wind farm becomes the first in the world to adopt China-produced 6.5-kilovolt high-voltage IGCT power devices and 4-kilovolt high-voltage DC dry capacitors in a flexible DC system for wind power.
