CTG's first greenfield project in Colombia, the Baranoa I PV Plant, was recently successfully connected to the grid.
Located near the city of Baranoa in Atlántico, northern Colombia, the plant has an installed capacity of 23.3 megawatts (MW). Construction of the main facilities began in May 2023.
The plant is expected to generate approximately 39 million kWh of electricity annually, supplying power to around 16,000 local households while reducing carbon emissions by about 35,000 tonnes per year.
