China's Three Gorges Dam receives record number of visitors during Spring Festival

The Three Gorges Dam tourist Area area welcomed 110,000 tourists from January 29 to February 4 during the 2025 Spring Festival holiday.

Visitors marveled at the dam's grandeur and immersed themselves in the festive atmosphere.

To enrich the visitor experience, the scenic area organized a variety of cultural activities, such as intangible cultural heritage-themed activities, fashion shows of Hanfu and clothing featuring modern designs mixed with traditional Chinese cultural elements, as well as folk music concerts. 

Interactive activities such as the Touhu (Pitch-pot) game and lantern riddle guessing were also arranged to engage and entertain tourists.
