CTG's wind-solar-storage project ensures reliable electricity supply during winter peak

Since December 2024, CTG's 1,200-megawatt (MW) wind-solar-storage base project in Fuyang, east China's Anhui Province, along with its integrated electrochemical energy storage station, has charged and discharged nearly 100 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity.

With over 100 activations, it has played a key role in stabilizing the local power grid and ensuring a reliable electricity supply during the winter peak and the Spring Festival holiday.

As the first large-scale wind-solar-storage project in the Yangtze River Delta, the project charges when the power demand is low and discharges during peak hours. It dispatches power an average of four times daily, ensuring a stable electricity supply for both production and daily life.
