CTG's San Gaban III Hydropower Project in Peru enters the final commissioning phase

The San Gaban III Hydropower Project, developed by CTG in Puno, Peru, has recently started reservoir trial impoundment, signaling the near completion of the main construction works. The project has now entered its final commissioning phase in preparation for power generation.
With a total installed capacity of 209.3 MW, the project is expected to generate about 1.25 billion kWh of clean electricity annually once fully operational.
This output is projected to reduce carbon emissions by approximately 338,000 tonnes per year and supply electricity to over one million people.
