Date: 2025-03-24
CTG Brasil recently conducted a five-phase fish restocking activity in the Paraná River Basin, where the Ilha Solteira and Jupiá Hydropower Plants are located, releasing 750,000 juvenile native fish into local waterways.
Since acquiring operational control of the fish restocking program in 2016, the company has released approximately 25 million fish fry across the Paraná and Paranapanema River systems.
The newly modernized Fish Breeding Center in Salto Grande, which reopened in 2024, now provides advanced technological infrastructure to support aquatic conservation studies and sustainable breeding practices.
CTG Brasil's total annual restocking target for the current cycle stands at 3.6 million fingerlings.
