CTG Brasil's Palmeira Wind Power Project achieves first-attempt success in reverse power transmission

The Palmeira Wind Power Project, built by CTG Brasil, successfully energized its 75-kilometer, 500 kV transmission line, achieving a first-attempt success in reverse power transmission.

The Palmeira Wind Power Project features 108 wind turbines, each with an installed capacity of 6 MW, totaling 648 MW. Once operational, it is expected to generate about 2.55 million MWh of clean electricity annually—equivalent to saving approximately 779,000 tonnes of standard coal.
