First off-grid wind power project in N China's Inner Mongolia achieves full-capacity grid-connected power generation

Recently, the first off-grid wind power project in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has achieved full-capacity grid-connected power generation.

Developed by Ordos Multi-energy Complementary Energy, a subsidiary of CTG, this project is a green power supply initiative for industrial parks in the Ordos Economic Development Zone.

With a total installed capacity of 300 MW, the project is expected to generate 870 million kWh of electricity annually, equivalent to saving approximately 260,000 tonnes of standard coal.

The generated electricity is fed into a substation within the Economic Development Zone of Otog via a 220 kV overhead line, directly supplying green power to enterprises in the development zone.
