CTG celebrates 30 years of collaboration with IHA in advancing global hydropower development

Since joining the International Hydropower Association (IHA) in 2005, CTG has committed to advancing global cooperation in hydropower development. On the occasion of IHA’s 30th anniversary, CTG extends its sincere congratulations and looks forward to deepening collaboration in the years to come.

Currently, CTG has coordinated the operation of six major hydropower stations, with a combined flood control capacity of 37.6 billion cubic meters.

Backed by cutting-edge digital tools, this capacity continues to strengthen flood resilience across the Yangtze River basin.

Beyond flood protection, CTG has also played an integrated role in ensuring water supply, ecological conservation, navigation and clean power generation, safeguarding livelihoods for tens of millions of people along the Yangtze River.
