CTG's Belvís PV plant in Spain's Extremadura: Blending technology with sustainability
Date: 2025-08-13
Driving into Spain’s Extremadura region, rolling hills lined with solar panels contouring the land come into view, while flocks of sheep roam freely among them—this is the Belvís PV plant, a project invested in by CTG.
With an installed capacity of 104,000 kW and an annual output of about 200 million kWh, the plant reached full operation in March 2025.
Using smart maintenance tools such as drone inspections and thermal imaging, it has greatly improved maintenance efficiency.
The project blends advanced technology with the local landscape, delivering clean energy while supporting sustainable development in the region.
