CTG's Three Gorges Hydropower Station hits 1.8 tln kWh in cumulative power generation since operations began

As of August 31, CTG’s Three Gorges Hydropower Station had generated over 1.8 trillion kWh of electricity, equivalent to saving about 540 million tonnes of standard coal and cutting 1.48 billion tonnes of carbon emissions.

With a total installed capacity of 22.5 million kW, the station has operated safely and reliably since its first unit went into service in 2003.

Through optimized dispatch and enhanced equipment maintenance, it continues to provide a steady supply of clean power, quietly supporting everyday life across the country.
