Electronic Waterway Chart boosts smart navigation on Yangtze River

With the Yangtze River's Three Gorges area bustling with ships, CTG is promoting the Yangtze River Electronic Waterway Chart.

This technology makes sailing through the reservoir smarter and safer.

Captains can now get real-time updates on water depth, currents, navigation marks, and nearby vessel movements directly on their screens. This allows cargo ships to optimize routes, reducing average single-voyage time by 15 percent and increasing main-channel cargo turnover efficiency by over 20 percent.

This electronic chart is replacing traditional paper charts, not only enhancing shipping efficiency but also injecting new momentum into the intelligent development of the Yangtze's golden waterway
