World's largest clean energy corridor runs at full capacity for the first time in 2025

Date: 2025-09-16

On September 8, all 110 generating units at CTG's cascade hydropower stations along the Yangtze River, the largest clean energy corridor in the world, ran at full capacity for the first time this year.

Since August 26, this green corridor has generated over 1.1 billion kWh of electricity per day for 13 consecutive days.

Through coordinated and optimized operation, six large hydropower stations have been running at peak efficiency.

They provide vital support for energy supply during key periods, such as the summer peak demand, continuously delivering clean electricity to millions of households.
