Restoring Jiujiang's urban lakes

The Gantang Lake and Nanmen Lake in Jiujiang, Jiangxi province, now boast clear, sparkling waters. Years of careful urban water restoration by CTG have helped revive these lakes and reconnect them with the city.

Working in the city's busiest area, engineers treated the lakes like a delicate operation, removing polluted sediment, rebuilding water circulation below ground, and growing underwater plants that help the lakes breathe. By opening construction sites to residents and inviting public participation, CTG turned restoration into a shared story of renewal and connection.
