From Pakistan's Karot Hydropower Project to Peru's San Gaban III Hydropower Station, Zhang Jun has dedicated 12 years to constructing vital hydropower infrastructure. Whether overcoming severe altitude sickness to build transmission lines at over 4,000 meters, or enduring the intense humidity of the Amazon rainforest, he has remained steadfast in his mission.

Beyond engineering, Zhang forged bonds of trust on the football pitch. By playing football and genuinely communicating with local residents, he helped transform the community's reservations about the Chinese team into understanding and support.
