A romantic form of "baseload generation"

A 2026 ecological dispatch test using "baseload generation", a stable and constant power generation mode, has begun at Wudongde Hydropower Station, marking the start of this year's spawning-support experiments for fish that produce adhesive eggs along the world's largest clean energy corridor.

CTG optimizes cascade reservoir dispatch and reasonably controls the daily average outflow to stabilize water levels downstream, creating suitable conditions for the reproduction of the fish. This test is being carried out simultaneously at Wudongde and Baihetan and is expected to be completed in mid-to-late March.
