Eyes in the sky: The intelligent monitoring system for desert restoration

Date: 2026-04-01

What if a desert project could be watched from the sky?

At the southern edge of the Hunshandake and Horqin sandy lands, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, an intelligent monitoring system developed by CTG is putting this into practice. Using drones and smart cameras, the system keeps watch around the clock, tracks changes on the ground and spots risks, such as grazing animals and fire.

By linking aerial monitoring with on-site checks, the system improves efficiency, reduces workload and supports more reliable project management.
