PV and sea buckthorn: where light meets green

Adopting an innovative "PV + sea buckthorn" model, CTG's Dazhaitan photovoltaic (PV) project in Gansu province has integrated 100MW photovoltaic panels with 30,000 sea buckthorn plants across 33 hectares. The shrubs reduce wind damage and dust accumulation on panels while boosting the physical stability of photovoltaic equipment and power generation efficiency.

Since 2014, the planted sea buckthorn seedlings have maintained a high survival rate. A new path has been forged for the coordinated development of new energy production and ecological conservation.
