The world's largest clean energy corridor posts strong performance in 2026

Date: 2026-04-23

A strong start to 2026. In the first quarter, the world's largest clean energy corridor, which consists of six cascade hydropower stations operated by CTG along the Yangtze River, generated over 61.8 billion kWh, maintaining stable and efficient operations.

The system also replenished more than 20.3 billion cubic meters of water, ensuring water supply security across the Yangtze River basin and improving navigation conditions. Coordinated operations continue to support water supply, shipping, energy supply and ecological flows.
