A scholarship building a cultural bridge between China and Peru

A study tour spanning half the globe brought two young Peruvians to Wuhan, Hubei province, offering them a close look at how tradition and modernity come together in China. During the program, CTG Scholarship recipients David and Milton studied Chinese and explored traditional Chinese culture through calligraphy, tea culture, paper cutting and Chinese painting. They also visited Chinese companies to see technological and industrial advances up close.

Over the past four years, the scholarship has supported 54 students at Ricardo Palma University in Peru, extending beyond academic support to foster cultural exchange and help more young Peruvians gain a deeper understanding of China.
