What's it like to go garden-to-table at a wind farm?

At wind power sites in Fujian province, workers have turned once-empty corners into thriving gardens, where watermelons, eggplants and chilies flourish under their care.

After a day maintaining offshore wind facilities, workers stop by to water the plants, pick whatever is ripe and share their freshly picked produce over dinner. These small gardens offer workers a place to unwind and make daily life at the wind farms more enjoyable.
