The ecological restoration of the drawdown area of the Three Gorges Dam helps the ecological restoration of the Yangtze River Basin
CTG has conducted extensive research on the ecological restoration of the drawdown area. Through methods such as selecting dominant plant species, optimizing the configuration of trees, shrubs, and grasses, and developing ecological restoration engineering techniques, ecological restoration work is in progress, with the application and promotion of key ecological restoration technologies. Furthermore, a 22,000-square-meter ecological restoration demonstration area has been established in the downstream areas of the Three Gorges Dam. This technology is used to address issues in the drawdown area, effectively achieving soil stabilization, erosion control, pollution reduction, and ecological revegetation effects.
